The ESS, Inc. Thermo-Electric Module Platform system or TEMP system relies upon an electrical energy process, called the Peltier effect, using electrons rather than refrigerant to remove heat from one place and move it to another. 

The TEMP thermal platform is constructed from aluminum alloy that is ground for flatness and plated for corrosion resistance and durability. The low profile design integrates well with existing workspaces and instrumentation. The TEMP system is controlled by the RC 9OO temperature controller.
